haha awesome penrod maybe you could tilt his head a bit more to underline the dizzyness
@achmet: no all just pure mudbox, also the texture
i put some more work into it, to show the specular and glosyness painting features, bt really the textures are nothing special most of the look comes from the shader, which is a normal mudbox shader with a little higher fresnel than normal, super soft and subtle ao, and some internal tonemapping
Great stuff Penrod. Maybe you could exaggerate one of the eye positons to help sell the dizziness more. I keep thinking of old Looney Toon cartoons and how they would exaggerate features.
I feel bad for killing such a stylish page with some random head practise but it's been a while without modeling and this 30 min or so were really fun....
man im loving the recent work on here.
pixelchaot, i love your guy's hairstyles! theyre SUPER distinctive, and stylish! i would recognize them immediatley if i were in a game and encountered them for a second time.
neox and pendrod: i love the cartoonyness of your peices.
awesome!
I'm so intimidated by this thread and the awesomeness in it. I don't know how you guys can sculpt some of these models in 1-2 hours.
Anyway, here's something that's related to a prop I'm making for work. Sculpted from a flat plane in about 3 hours. 3 1/2 hours if you count the 30 minutes I lost because i forgot to save and mudbox crashed... YAY! The final product will be a relief so I'm only interested in the normal map.
thx all ya !!! :poly136: i really appreciate that
for the next i try to use a reference pic but i have only a front view
"she" looks a little bit like a "he"?! ...weird :poly122:
and steffen i promise my next upload is more from the trader
i love the fast ones to much... :poly121:

learning to sculpt.
Quick 15min doodle before going to bed.
I suck.
Is it just me or does that head you're sculpting look a lot like your avatar? Just slap a cowboy hat on him and BAM!
