Did a shoot this afternoon, had a ton of fun, so glad the Quadra is water resistant, it was drizzling the whole time. A vagabond and alienbee would have fried.
Bunnies! Weren't they afraid of you getting that close?
Rens, that's sensor noise, I'm assuming this is bumped up a bit exposure wise in post.
They were very content to just hang out in the excessively long grass in my front yard, and would only scuttle about if i got.... like within a foot of them. I took a bunch of shots with a 135mm +11mm macro ring(from 2-5 feet away), and i think that one was just with my 50mm getting really close(one ran off about 2 feet away from me after taking that shot). I've got a bunch more of them sort of individuality. I think sort of staying still and hiding in the grass is the natural behavior at that age for them.
Yesterday there was only one left, and we had to mow so we caught him and put him in a bucket, mowed and then put him back. Today they were all gone, which was good, as we took a roto-tiller and ripped up most of the front yard. =D
I'll have a look through later cause i think i have a couple more good shots.
[ps] Yeah i mistakenly took this at ISO 1600 i think, and then bumped it up about a full stop in post.
Nothing like the quality of Erasers recent mammoth landscapes but I got some interesting shadow/light effects in this from an unusually sunny Scottish afternoon. My old Cannon 20D standard lens.
Took it with my droid was it's kinda crappy, but man was it beautiful :P One of the photos I took even had lens flare! But I thought I spare you the flare...
That's pretty damn good for a cell phone. Actually, I kind of like the slight bit of graininess that the camera provided.
Thanks! It was even worse, but I did a quick light pass through NoiseWare and it got rid of a little bit of it (it was really bad in the dark areas). The droid has a good camera on it, if the lighting is PERFECT :P I'm too scared to take my SLR fishing with me still ha
yeah, most camera phones are only good in bright conditions, because they have such a small lense to allow light in. They also have long shutter speeds, which is why they suck for anything moving.
I'll check out the noiseware. I hadn't heard of it before, but most photo editing software will do similar tricks. I'm curious if it does a better job though (since that's its main function).
Nice pussy sinister... what you all saw a cat joke coming...
That statue loks like two amish abstract boys. Speaking of which, I took a drive back through belleville tonight (aka amish country) and I will have some amish shots in here tomorrow
yeah it was sort of like a large grain of sand running across the hose, i got lucky and it sat there for a few seconds, long enough to a couple shots of it
i came across the same sort when i looked through the finder.
a grain of sand that was .. moving, second later an ant came by and snap it was gone, i just missed it with the shutter

Ic ame back for the camera but woke up shortly afterwards.

bigger spacer please, am not getting close enough for a good picture
(he was moving so its a bit weird)
And an attempt at HDR:
-black border is because the shots were freehand so the images don't have the exact same framing.

I don't have any cameras myself =(
I think I went over board with the HDRI on the last one though, might tone it down...

Here is the noiseware community edition (free), damn good noise reducer: http://www.imagenomic.com/download.aspx

Hi Five Biches!
This. Thanks for the link though, I'll check it out as well.
Looks like it's a miss.
