Looks like some fun stuff there Paolo. But the method in which the jobs are printed isn't really the best method. If you had a large job then there's a chance it could never get printed.
Yeah, I know - but its not an algorithm design, its just an exercise our professor gave us in probability and combinatorics. i.e. coming up with an exact proof for something that is common sense.

you could use some more colour in the fonts , maybe try to make the eye follow the composition more on the layout ... other than that it looks great.
just a little more work on the cuda..decided to switch over to the convertible model.. dash got tweaked a bit after this shot.. console's waiting for the rest of the interior...
original size is 1950x1200... i hope to get this finished and polished to a nice level. i haven't ever done a "good" digital painting.
uhh, just realised they were both linking to the same pic! edited to fix
and rorshach - yeah i know what you mean. just looking back on some of the PS paintings i've done and saved, I don't think to myself that I like what I've done with them... weird, cos I'm pretty sure i enjoyed doing them at the time
Mop,
I absolutely love that painting you've done here. Even after only 40 minutes of work I think it's simply great. Can you host the full image? I'd really like to put it as my background (1920x1200 native resolution, so it'd fit perfect :] )
well its not much but im starting to fart out some quick sketches, the idea was from a mercenary type game i started to plan, then didnt the way of all great games!
i plan to do a few of these and hopefuly next semester when i start my maya workshop i can get stuck into that.
for anybody who has open canvas here's the event file
And here's another rough piece i've been testing out, if you do by chance bother to look at this one please make sure you have the weighted playback option ticked under the "show" tab. its going to be fuilly rendered eventually and i'll post the results in a different thread once this semester is over.
Our company is making this game. This is about all I could show for what I am doing right now becuase I've been too busy to do personal work. Deadlines are so stressfull.
Gmanx: Texture resolution a little high there, maybe?! Good work so far though.
Here's what I've got in the works... part of a Max model after 15-20 mins zbrushing, currently on 3rd level sub-d ... probably end up about 4 or 5 sub-d's when finished.
40000 polys for the arm so far... source mesh is around 400 i think. just realised i forgot to put a thumbnail on the source model - damn! gonna be fun zbrushing that in... o_O
almighty_gir: hehe, I'm using ZBrush ... basically subdivide and sculpt 3d meshes like clay in realtime - i'm amazed you haven't heard of it - it's being looked at more for games and realtime stuff now, and they used it on the Lord of the Rings films ... www.zbrush.com !
Mop, good point there, I suppose I'm just making more work for myself eh?.......d'oh. It's the whole 'working big to get the detail in there' versus 'it's all going to disappear anyway when it's reduced' thang. Love your landscape BTW, wish I had your confidence with the big brush.
Wow, MoP you always were great but youre getting even better and FAST, pfewie. Thats one good looking ZBrush model, what brush do you use the most, and could I/we see the 3d Max mesh perhaps please, would be really helpfull ? Cant wait to see more of that model, great work already !
Starting in on a new model (god it's good to be modeling) based of this characture of myself as a little kid. As a bit of a background so you can understand what the hell is going on when I was a little kid I wanted to be a fighter pilot and my favorite movie was top gun. I watched that movie all the time and when I did I used to put on my dads old football helmet (it was missing the face guard) and his filter mask (which I pretended was my fighter pilot mask) and I had a toy joystick and I pretended I was maverick. Cute as hell I know.

Click the image for a full-size version. This is not final however, I am still working on it - it's pretty messy!
Enjoy!

ahh, the high poly girl... no matter how many times you try, its never perfect.
A model i finished not too long ago. Going to normal map her when I get the hardware/software to do it.
Great work, but besides the long neck, the front of the pants right below the beltarea looks like there is nothing underneath it.
Mind to show more of her? (Backside, wirefames, closeups?)
trying to get face rigging to work better ... no blend shapes for me , just want to use bones ...
Lots of very interesting projects in this thread guys
lil robot guy
I used paint def in Max 7 to shape her features, and she's all quads now.
