Hello! Polycount This is a character that I'm going to be taking on this month!
It's my own concept, originally used for a class project, in which I only modeled and textured the dragon, now I'm going to a=make the little knight a badass too.

Current stage of the model, nest step doing some weapons and shield, and paintovers of the model to figure out the texture since the original version is too plane, want the final result to be a low poly model that could be used in a mobile game or similar.
Hi brothers and sisters, comrades, fellow polycounters Here's my first post this year. Let's all level up and kickass I made this character for the character-design-challenge on facebook. Cheers!
Daew- Nice thumbs, I like number 1, 5, and 6. Portalsurfer- awesome wip, I'm curious if you will add anything else into that glass room/lab. ayoub44- nice start, I think you could extend the light of the cave further into the scene to create a stronger visual interest since you already have it peeking forward where the dude is standing at. Kaktuzlime- Huge fan of you stuff as usual dude, I loved your pirate design up over at CDC. Btw, hope you don't mind but I decided to give your technique a try. I really enjoy that rough brushy feel of your works, really gives it a more alla prima feel. spasmart- looks great so far, I feel like you could push the hair and face even further. Right now both of those seem a bit flat compared to the rest of the image.
Did a photostudy and technique study of Kaktuzlime's brushwork. Thanks for that youtube video process dude. I'll definitely incorporate how you layer each of the lighting steps in my future pieces.
@ Muzz- Thanks bro! I appreciate it ^^ Still long ways to go till I feel good about my artz, but I derive some sense of self-respect and pleasure from trying to improve
@ Nilknarf815 - Cool study bro! I'm flattered you enjoy my approach And I'm stoked you're playing with it and doing your own studies! I'm still learning a lot myself, so take whatever I do with a grain of salt and when you feel confident enough, toss me aside and do it your own way I like the brushy-stuff too! Totally want to be like Zorn, Sorolla and Sargent ;P
@ Lorex - Thanks buddy! Nice paintings too I enjoy the blocky strokes!
@ Acapulco - Uuuuugh, so good. Jawdropping as always Simon.
@ Jamesy - Beauuuutiiifuuull!!!
@ Highelf - Keep up the good work!
@ Gnashed - Sweet bounce-light man!
@ Stinger88 - Super-cool designs!
Did a collab with the glorious Rob Sevilla, he did the drawing, I did the colors! Cheers ya'll, good start to the new year peeps!
Thanks kaktuzlime. Awesome Conan! well done both of you.
Did a quick clean up and colour pass on one of the previous mech thumbs. Tried not to change the line work to much to see how well it would hold up on its own.
