Hey everyone, I'd like to show you this sword I modelled. I am at a cross roads, and would like some help, and guidance.
I enjoy 3D modelling, but at the moment it is more of a hobby, rather than a career; I would like to turn it into a career some day. From this model, I'd like to know what are the next steps in taking my model to the next level. I modelled this sword in 3Ds Max.

Sick stuff everyone kosh_fotsirk Nice take on the Bravely Default style duncan Sweet to see to the pose evolve like that, it gained a lot of power. Jeltz: Nighttime looks really good in Flotsam! The lights during the day might be turned a little warmer, at the moment it makes the character look a bit greenish.

I worked on a muddy ground (with dirty/oily water) substance for a demo we showcased at Unite Europe last week. Quick preview in TB2.

Finally got all the textures done on my Dwarf dude. Now... i'm not actually sure what to do next other than possibly rigging and animating him. Don't know if i'm even presenting it right. Not even sure if this is the right thread for this! Regardless, I do like how it's gone/going.
@Jeltz: The clouds on Destiny Islands from Kingdom Hearts appeared to be on alpha'd planes slowly rotating around the island. At least that's the conclusion I remember coming to when I was studying it for a side project ages ago.

No offense, but if you get "triggered" by a flag then you are not ready for the real world.
