Screwing around with Agisoft Photoscan in demo mode while I work out my capturing technique, before I take the plunge of using the 30 day free trial to actually make stuff.
@lxmus is this zbrush? also, is his face purposely flat?
@Sebvhe whoa, where can I fly this? xD loved it! texturing is superb! what did you use to texture it?
@gav his face, armour and shirt are impressive! altough, isn't his beard threads too thick?
@joymepls I LOVED that alien concept. Everything from proportions to lighting is impeccable!
@lotet hey! not fair! I wanted to make my troll cartoonish too >:( (couldn't get to do it, though) your troll is looking phenomenal! please tell me you'll make him a low poly, game ready character!
Rebooted my troll from the monthly character art challenge, which also doubled as a initial anatomy study (of course that proportions are off here, since it's an nonhuman character, but muscle positions and connections were and are being worked)
I haven't modelled or textured anything in a while (longer than I'd like) so this was a test to familiarise myself with Substance Designer as well as to get into the swing of modelling/texturing again.
It's all 100% Substance (no Photoshop) and is rendered in UE4

cute to me doesn't resemble kerrigan but that version is still nice.

That looks stunning! Any chance we can see the graph?
We started testing out Agisoft Photoscan at work. This was done with basic lighting in front of green screen. I sat under the chair and turned it so we could get consistent lighting while another coworker took about 90+ pictures from different heights. This guy is a polycounter as well, so make sure to make fun of his mug. :poly142:
Going to be a long-term project about retro-futuristic and blocky takes on aircraft. A much needed change because some of the stuff I want to show off is locked behind a few paranoid NDAs.

@HowardDay - How are you generating your lighting matcaps in real-time? I would love more details about this technique - it looks great!
I'd love to receive some feedback
