Awesome stuff guys! @Deforges That is the best thing I've seen all day, and I may or may not have laughed hysterically at it.
Got a couple of blockout shots of a current scene I'm working on, I want to get all the environmental design and texturing out of the way before I get too far into the one offs.
Still have to dirty up the wall textures and fix my brick trim texture, but I'm liking how fast I'm blocking it out. C&C welcome
Hi there! Awesome works! I'm modeling a environmental scene based on Greg Westphal's concept
Here it is
What do you think? It still needs lot of work but I'm way excited about this personal project. Adding textures to the scene is gonna be quite tough... I would like to use handpainted textures and I have no experience of it.
I have been working on this truck on a while and I think I am about to finish it soon If you have any suggestions or advise please let me know before I nail it down.
This is a sculpt of Jonas Basanavicius, a well known historical person in Lithuania. My reference was old photographs and drawings. My goal in the end is to make a real time portrait using marmoset viewer.
Here are the final renders of the Photon Canon that I created for the Blizzcon 2015 artist stage - There will be a tutorial on the asset in the upcoming Vertex 3 book!
More highres renders can be found on my artstation and blog

@ Stirls : Looks cool. Looks like Marvelous Designer. Not sure about the breast pockets though.
found some time for this guy. Started playing with poses before I decide on outfits. Thinking someting like this. or a more casual one with the Bo slung over his shoulder.
This project as brought me to the inevitable conclusion that i am terrible with making shoe laces xD. Still plugging away at it though . I don't often work on footwear, but it's going better than i was expecting. I am however dreading the treads .

I dont think I mind it looking like MD. I mean, when it bakes out noone can tell the difference anyway. Is that what you mean when you say it looks like Marvelous Designer?
Quick likeness sculpt from tonight. Haven't sculpted in awhile(gotta love shitty placeholder hair xD) so was nice to get back into it. Might keep going with this one.
Awesome work everyone! And happy fathers day to everyone out there! If you aren't a father yet, you all have some wonderful pieces of art to call your children, so happy fathers day to you too
Here's a little update to my procedural nature scene I'm working on. (STILL WIP - A lot I want to make look better and update/add)
All of the trees and branches and all are procedurally generated. After I made my first tree, I can just copy and paste and it generates completely new branch placement so no 2 trees are alike. I can also adjust the number of branches, the size/scale of the branches, the rotation variation of the branches, and wind works on all of the branches as well. www.facebook.com/purepolygons
CharlieD, the background doesn't really work in these renders, it looks like the background images were shot with a fisheye lens, which gives that heavily distorted look, but the renders of the car do not have the same distortion. Note how the road curves with in the first shot while the car's lines are straight.

Yeah ditto on the breast pockets.
Some more practice. I'm gonna get it one of these days.
This is based on the Grant Regan's concept.

All of the trees were created with this simple piece of geometry here, besides the leaves of course those are a seperate piece of geo.
Awesome work guys!!
I recently completed the martyr character I posted a few months ago in here
