Highpoly is basically done (see obvious lack of internal barrel). I have a basic idea for the materials: main body will blued steel, grip will be worn wood with chipped clear coat, and everything else will be plated polished silver.
Working on some hard surface high poly stuff to add my portfolio.
It's based off soviet locomotive that has been slapped on military truck chassis. I don't have many references to work with so I've improvised quite a lot of it. Fun project, but Max crashing constantly when selecting edges and ring loops is quite annoying.
I'm aware of the pinching on top etc but I'd appreciate some constructive criticism and comments.
Hey guys I'm new my names Daniel and I only started zbrush about 5 months ago.. I'm practising on chara[IMG][/IMG]cters I designed Please guys critique and let me know what you think. This is my WIP so far
Some slow progress on the hero. I have completed the high poly and have also completed the low poly! yay! Now, just arranging the UV layouts. She is currently sitting at 33k. After this, I will bake and give it to the rigger and move on to the third character. I will be using Marvellous Designer for it, for practice and speed purposes!
Millenia, at it again! Your quality is impressive, how long did that whole process (estimated) take? What was your UVing/Texturing process?
About 3 work weeks, the materials are just separated by polygons/material ID then textured with tiling simple Unreal materials. Basically like a modular building!
haven't posted any art in a while. Got inspired to model something quick and easy from a prop artist on art station that made a similar prop. Put four of them together so it makes it look like I did more work
I got to do this guy as part of a freelance task for a startup company here in Austin. Grabbing some renders to throw up on artstation now and figured I'd post here as well. They just started their kickstarter here, be sure to check it out! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/crowfall/crowfall-throne-war-pc-mmo

Designing some war toys. Here's Danny the Drone in progress!
Posting an update for my new character. It needs another pass and I will move on to the low poly stage.
incredibly detailed!
I would like to see some parts of the model influencing each other, like hot parts shifting the color of neighbouring panels
Figured I'd throw it up on the WAYWO for posterity.
warmup thingie :
lookin rad, Scythe - are you using Zmodeler? I need to learn to not suck so much at it :poly122:

There's a bit of a spelling mistake on the back there with "Environment" spelled as "Envrionment".
Unless I'm missing a reference of some sort and I'm making a fool of myself, of course.
