3h speedsculpt (concept, sculpting, rendering) I did for the spitsculpt group on Facebook. Inspired by the art of Goro Fujita. I love the way he breathes life into his robots so much I wanted to do something similiar..
c&c very welcome
Cleaned up the cannons, optimized the stacks and mesh in a dozen places and changed a few things for clarity. Still screen grab. Still horrible material selections. Starting on body now so slow going from now on haha.
At the very least i can make a few space ships with a little kitbashing.
Extremely early structural blockout and "work lighting" of my newest UE4 scene. Structures are further along, props are blocky cubes still. Concept is a jumping off point- might pull back on the grime a bit. Gonna see where it takes me.
(Concept is from the game Batman: Arkham Origins, from Artist Eric Gagnon)
@RogelioD: Really liked your lighting on Day 1, it had more personnality, now it's kinda boring.
Thanks for the feedback! The lighting now most likely will be completely re-worked once I get the light meshes in there (there are 3 in the concept that are not currently in the scene) but yeah, I do agree that it was a good target and something to shoot for once I am ready
Awesome viking guy Mikezoo, his beard breaks it for me tho, doesn't look like it all originates from his chin, it sort of insinuates that his chin is the shape of the beard. Everything else looks great tho
Nice coat work Marco Splash.
I messed around with this jackass this evening, feels like I need to refresh my eyes on his feature proportions perhaps tho... ?_?
been working on a little horror game thingy. but staying away from the guns and zombies (ooo so scary..) and focusing on puzzles (riven/myst~) rather than shooting.
just started on a little switch thingy puzzle, rather than just pressing buttons and magic happening I wanted a proper animation on every button..
right now it's all triggered by keyboard commands, but I think I want to use the mouse..
and the clipping makes me think I'll need to make the arms alternate depending on how far you are to one side of the board.. so 4 animations (on/off switch) for two hands
Doodling this away. Grabbed an hour between workouts to get this done. Turbosmooth is off atm, sitting at 1.4 mil polys, 10/11 mil with it on.
Really don't want to overdo the legs since there is so much noise already. Going to do one last pass to fix any mesh errors, clean up a few bits and the usual prep before going to lowpoly. Going to see what i can do to get some nice renders before i more to low poly ;D
Hey guys, new here! I come from a traditional sculpture / fx background. This will be my first zbrush start to finish. Been doing all I can to learn more from tutorials. Here's my progress on this guy so far. Still posing and some asymmetrical details to go. Now to learn more about paint / rendering Any critique or advice is welcome!

hey dude, your matcap is very dark, its realy hard to make out shapes and shading if you are not sitting in a very dark room. maby choose a brighter matcap for the next progress shots so we can give you better feedback.

Couple of props I'm working on for a scene going into Unreal 4.

awesome - do you have a thread for that ?
I'm happy how the colors came out and I hope to make them work as Deathmatch and Orbital Warfare sometime ^^
