Some WIP from me, everything is very rough, tons of stuff left to do. The trees in the "hero" area are the same ones as in the backdrop and will be replaced with proper trees later so don't mind them
Its been a while, been a bit of a weird art hiatus but starting to get back in the game, just a wip of a new character im working on. Concept based off the awesome work of Johnson Ting
They all look pretty great. I know this is extremely nit-picky but usually anybody that uses guns on a regular basis never has their finger over the trigger unless they mean to fire the weapon. The thug looks fine because you probably wouldn't expect him to know unless growing up around guns (and responsible gun owners, like farmers, not gangsters), but the overcoat assassin would probably know this. For anyone I know, having your finger on the outside of the trigger guard (with the index finger fully extended, seen here) is second nature, you just don't have your finger on the trigger unless you intend for the gun to go off.
That kind of attention to detail really makes works of art shine imo. It's definitely not a big deal, but it would make your work that much better, which it is already great .
Stunning work everybody. Always put a smile on myface and make me jealous at the same time. Meanwhile, I'm slowly moving to finish!
Hey liquid love your work BTW. This might be a stupid question but what kind of mechanism are you using to rotate the wheels? It looks like they are attached by 4 metal bars that are welded to the chassis which would surely hinder the wheels rotation. It's just been bugging me lol.
Awesome work here guys! Inspirational stuff as always! Finished up the Elysium SMG, was meant to be for the Humster3d comp but didn't finish it in time. C+C welcome.
Still trying to refine the details of what makes Rinoa so special. I've slowly come to discover working with black hair is difficult for me, but I hope in the texture process it'll become a bit more clear. I need to spend some time working on her hair so they don't look like blob chunks anymore :P

Ive been learning Z Brush and the re-topology process and here's what i got.
Dynamesh is the best!
I'd really try and add more contrast to your lighting and make it more interesting. Look into a 3 point setup.
Thanks for the feedback, AlexCatMasterSupreme. I'll look into adjusting the lighting setup.
WIP Halo 4 part of the first level in UE4
WIP Textures test for env. scene in UE4
So hard not eating the reference
Spent some time practicing material definition with the new Quixel Suite
I think if you add the rear backlight would be even better
Could you do a breakdown of this ?
Looks like terrain with another layer of geom for the leaves but i'm not sure.
Looks great
Fozwroth: well, even though there's ton left to do, that environment already looks sweet. Really love the foliage!
Working on this scene in Marmoset 2. The sword is a Blizzard concept, which can be found in my thread. Would love some feedback.
Bit of a polypaint this evening on Remi-7 from Mekanizer
