I didn't do anywhere near as much as I wanted this month which I'm quite disappointed about. It's mainly because I got a new job and I don't get much time anymore to work on things. I guess it's going to have to be a weekend job now! I'm also just wondering if it is even worth creating single items anymore as they only seem to be adding sets now.
Though it didn't get much response on the workshop, I completed my 'Goldwing Staff' for Skywrath. I just updated it with some texture tweaks and scale/proportion changes.
I'm also pushing to finish a Medusa bow. Here is a rough normal/AO.

ok guys we need to select some categories to ask reddit what they prefer
its better if the category have a good number of option so we can create a pool and get reddit guys helping us choose, that way we can attract more attention from them since they are participating more
also its good if we dont restrict too much the categories, or we could get some heroes too similar
i really like the idea of working on old forgotten heroes and the "4 or more legged heroes" =]
Are we set on keeping the hero limit at 3? Perhaps we could give reddit the ability to vote on the theme of the month's competition and have that dictate the number of possible heroes?
I do agree too, there are heroes forgotten for item creation because they already have early stuff in the shop at the begening. Drow/DK/Furion/invoker ?

I'm almost certainly not going to finish my medusa set before tomorrow (stupid distractingly adorable spiders...) but I'm definitely looking forward to next months contest!
Add another vote for an oldies theme for me. You've all named a ton of heroes that I'd love to take a crack at!

I don't necessarily think it's a needed change for the competition, three heroes has worked well these past few months. I do, however, think it might be worth testing out especially considering the theme is pretty specific and all of these heroes could use some new loving not just three.
4-5 seems like it would be a nice spot. Less people making stuff for the same heroes, probably more people competing due to more hero options and still not an overwhelming number that it goes off the rails.

There was an Omni set recently which got a tonne of loving from the community in addition to an Axe set so I think the community seems to be past that.
If we were to shrink the list down a bit I would say;

could silencer be an option, too? i suspect his popularity will rise at least a little since he's seen somep play in the qualifiers - i'm not sure how "oldschool" he is as far as the worksthop goes, though.

I think Drow and Morphling could be a nice option too .
My guess is, lets the Reddit decide, put them all , and see what happens
( maybe upgrade exceptionally the pool of heroes to 5 because we all will work on it for sure,i can feel the motivation here !! )

I'm still fiddling about with my high poly. I'm so indecisive... I work well under pressure though, so this should be interesting.
