Hi all, I'm hoping to jump on next month's competition as I'm fairly confident with Maya but don't have any experience with ZBrush.
Does anyone have any tutorials that they found particularly helpful when learning ZBrush for the first time? and is there anything I should know before going into this comp?

Wasn't the whole point of these competitions was to create sets for heroes that don't get much love while providing a friendly competitive environment for constructive criticism and healthy growth?
Correct, however "doesn't have any items" is different to "don't get much love" -- I personally haven't seen many Lone Druid/Batrider/Enchant items/sets recently other than a few standouts.
Anyway, it was just one idea, you guys should suggest your own
I thought batrider was among the heros when we did storm spirit - about the time anuxi did her bat. I could be wrong. Maybe we could switch gears for a month and do wards or something? Still..i do want to make a bear

Some great ideas all around, it should probably be fielded to Reddit to make the final choice, as all the choices are pretty good and the Reddit process hasn't failed us yet.
As for me im partial to the initial idea of the winners bracket or +4legs, mostly because im bias and want to make something for Enchantress :poly121:.
Considering the International 3 is coming up, how about a focus on heroes that are popular picks in tournaments?
There's a new balance patch coming out soon which will totally change which heroes will be popular for competitive play - I think that's definitely a good idea but I think it would be cool for maybe the month before TI3.

Heroes of old? Ie heroes who used to get lots of sets but no longer get any love. Drow, axe, morphling, invoker, sven, omni, and witchdoctor.

How about a season themed competition? Like a summer splash party with Tidehunter, Morphling, Slardar, Siren, and maybe Slark. We could do it every 3 months for each season.
