Sad story over all. Couple of immigrants gone astray hurting innocent people. I heard the uncle talking on the radio and he is pretty appalled/scared. They've been trying to make a decent life here since they moved and then his nephews do something like this. Unbelievable

What is a deads man trigger? Did they kill a guy and plant a bomb on him?
It's one of the strangest things to pop up on the reddit feed (they listen to the police scanners). Apparently some old guy with explosives strapped to him holding a trigger. I have no idea how it's related to the marathon bombers, maybe the whole situation caused someone else to go nuts too.
A trigger that if you keep it pressed down it doesn't go off, if you let go (as in death) it goes off. "Kill me and we all go boom" sort of thing.

I find myself shaking my head, and wondering how long we actually have left as a species. It's been a tiring week for everyone, especially Americans and especially Bostonians.

Good Lord... I'm glad this whole mess has been resolved. I'm sure this is just the beginning of a protracted trial and such, but I'm glad they caught him alive...if for no other reason than being able to hopefully settle some questions.
It's scary having all this stuff happen in your backyard...but it was inspiring to see all the various organizations come together to get us Bostonian's (hopefully) some resolution.
Well, at least now we get to see him stand trial. I'm genuinely curious as to what their motive was. Also, hearing from my sister that the entirety of Boston has turned into one gigantic party.
That's old news. Guy was innocent but they weren't sure at first so they made him strip. If you search over on reddit or google for 'naked man boston bombing' there's loads of info about that situation. Nothing to see there.
