Saw the Desolation of Smaug the other day, finally inspired me to sculpt something, i don't want to do a full body, not yet anyhow. Hopefully i can get a bust done though.
Freakin awesome work everyone as usual! Keep it up!! It's so inspiring
Just a wip of the starter high poly render! Trying to branch out and learn some more stylized/hand painted workflows. The foliage is going to be a pain in the ass, I can already tell
Probably gonna finish the sculpt up this week and start on paint/retopo. Still need to detail the belt, weapon and horns. As always feedback/crit welcome
First time working with Substance Designer 3.7 and I dig the power of the program. Rendered in the July version of UDK and will continue to learn and improve on what this small project has taught me!
Jaydon: I don't have a pic of him in front of me but his brow line seems so flat and something about his eyes...maybe the size is too small? Makes him look kind of comical. Other than that looking really good.
Getting back into the swing of things! I've been told by alot of people that this looks like the Eat 3D tutorial, but just to clarify I'm not using that tutorial for this model. My plan with this model is to create a high quality model for film production, texture him with mari, render him with vray, and composite him into live action footage.
it was way too late at night to be blocking attack animations, but I did two.. and then I of course had to implement them into the demo..
made it real rough ofc, but you can combo the two animations into eachother if you keep pressing the attack button, if you just press it once it'll play just the first anim.
gonna make a combo with 4-5 anims..
Ho Ho Holy shit man, that's awesome. I just think it's bad because the only see the dog's butt, but I don't see any way to change the composition so we could see his face...
@ljsketch : a thief with bright pink details ? That's not really sneaky imo ^^. At least some cleavage could make a good diversion while she's pickpocketing XD.
@Texelion - ha ha. yeah, a couple other people said that about the original concept. I just really liked the design so I went for it.
