going to call this done for now. Need to do a polish pass on it still, will revisit after finishing the others in the set. been a long time to finish a texture like this, woo!
Now, if the Torchlight 2 Editor will just come out... Could import to Torchlight 1 i guess, but meh.
Mecha Spider rig for a classmate's model. Figured out how to work some robotic IK.
Thats looking nice dude, you might want to put the IK just above the feet and have those pivot. Something that heavy wouldn't slide about like that, having them locked to the ground would give it some weight.
- Perhaps some more saturation and color variation to the texture would make him look more vivid. In the overpaint I made his head a bit brighter and slightly increased redish saturation to make the head stand out more as the model's focal point, against the blue wings and sky. I think it makes his expression a bit more furious as well!
- To make his body parts more readable from each other, I added a faint greenish hue underneath the tail behind his legs. Similarly I added some green hues to the golden armor to make it more vivid.
- Perhaps some more spots / scale marks? I added some more of them to make the transition from wing to body more subtle
Keep up the good work, looking forward to see more of Siegecraft!

Hello forum! It's been way too long since I actually posted anything at all here. So here's a picture I did today inspired by the walking dead. I named it "can we go back to mommy now?" Well, they probably can't. :P
This vault door has been a real learning challenge for me to texture. I'm trying to really pin down my gloss and spec use to get good material definition.
Haven't post anything here this year...so it's about time. Nice pieces in this topic...and i hope i can help with mine
Trying to finish this....hopefully somewhere tomorrow.
Happy modeling and drawing guys!

- For the presentation, I think his feet could point backwards, as if pushed back by the air current. I think this would make make him look less stiff if he is meant to be portrayed flying in the sky in the shot. Some pics for inspiration!
