@ BeatKifano - after google-ing Cutter Slade I must say no:P, never heard of that character before :$. I was just concepting as I was modelling, but I was mostly going for a rugged mercenary soldier type.
My game Last Knight is in beta now! Made a compilation of all the snippets I had posted over time of the development on Twitter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=O54Crl08Ogc
I wrote up a blog post about Gradient Mapping in Unity as I recently worked on a project that used it. The images are bit lame since this was more of a tech demo/how to than an actual implementation.
ysalex - Love this! The lighting is really nice, the water line on her eyes especially, the skin turned out really well. Goldo_O - this guy has so much character, awesome. imijatov - Really great textures, the fresnel effect on the skin looks really nice! May I ask how you rendered her?
Finally finished something I started aages ago then got really sidetracked.

It doesn't seem like your demo is working as the pyramid renders pitch black, both in browser and unity (Don't have the automatic truecolor option in free version btw).
Sharing my latest wip. Still some stuff to do, replace beard, fix some kind of cloth / t-shirt so you cover that part of the skin and some texture and material tweaking.
Working another of Daven's axes. Currently painting the lava bits but not totally happy with them. Also need to work on the bounce lighting the create.
Awesome work on this page so far, as usual, nice work everyone !
Little crosspost from my own Thread, still some spec-gloss tweaking to do, engine still pretty new to me so it's not perfect haha!
I realize there is something really bugging me about the jeans at the moment, will try to give it some more love too!
No hidden boners? You're losing your edge man.
Well, tough luck Miss Sunshine! No more boners to you guys until I receive a petition personal signed by every single user on the polycount forum,

Real-time in CryEngine 3.
fantastic. best character rendering in ce! what was your process of creating the skin texture? and do you use 2d plans for the beard? it could use some variation btw.

Here a WIP image of my Metroid fan art. I created the model as part of the Hard Surface Character Modelling Course on cgsociety instructed by Josh Herman.
I am still experimenting with some poses and rendering techniques but wanted to share some of my progress.

Found I really like to texture with vectors, working on setting up a stopmotion character using Blender's Papercraft Exporter Plugin.
