I'm very proud to announce me and Pior Oberson just published our latest effort for the Dota 2 workshop. Treasure of the Deep set, done for Arteezy from team EG!
Anuxi! I had that idea in mind for a long time. Ofcourse no creative way to express it as my concepting skills are not something I am proud off. Additionally, I have seen other artists attempting to do a meteoric set for Morphling and tbh, what you just made, I don't think it can be topped! Looking forward to finished set!
Ahaha no idea about that, but yeah there's nothing quite like checking one's own list of items and see it displayed as all empty ! Seems like it is affecting everybody at the moment ...
Loving the ice shards ! Straightforward and strong design ideas like that are always awesome to see - maximum impact !
I have another problem O_O. I'm trying to compile my Spirit bear into an MDL with StudioCompiler, but when I load up my QC and hit compile, I get this:

My QC is here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/279ql1huauvjdng/Spiritbear1.qc
The syntax for the sequences, which is what I think it's having an issue with, comes straight from the QC file from the default spirit bear. Does anyone know why this isn't working for me? Google didn't tell me anything helpful unfortunately.
EDIT: It changed all of my ":\"s in the paths to smileys o.O

At line 81 you have the names for all your animations but the "BindPose" one don't look like the other animations below it. try adding something between the "$sequence BindPose "ACT_DOTA_IDLE"" and the "fps 30.00"
@heckaa
Thanks for trying to help. I don't think it's this, I tried to fix that and it didn't help. It's just like that in the default spirit bear QC. Also, if I comment it out, it complains about how it is looking for a number in the next line, but got "loop" instead. Take that out, and it says that it was looking for a number and instead got "ACT_DOTA_IDLE" I have no clue. The syntax looks correct, according to the Valve wiki on source and the default spirit bear QC file.

Have you tried compiling it with dota 2 test tools instead? I thought there was a studiomdl in there? Or can you do it from the command line, and not in studiocompiler

hot damn what a team! absolutely stunning work guys
Wow, you have actually created a perfect beginner's guide to particles! It's amazing how you fit most of the crucial particle basics in such a short and easily accessible guide. If you plan on expanding it, let me know - I've promised to do such a guide a long time ago but never really got past the sketching phase. Maybe it might finally take shape with this basis of yours
a little late but i would like to get back to 2 or 3 pages ago about the discussion over the PA set
We should keep the forum a constructive place, and not a place to make jokes about other artists works. People should not be afraid of post their work here, they should be welcome to do so.
If you dont like or disagree with the decision someone took on his set, just talk and try to be clear, posting a random gif or making jokes about it is not healthy for the artist that spent days on that and is not healthy for the forum itself.
we are a group of professional artists or people that are trying to be one, so please, act like that and show more respect towards other artists

hmm. this attributes will be issued only to those who attended in tournament? unfortunately I am unable to get to the tournament. but I want to. nevertheless I help in organizing the show broadcast of TI4 in largest cinema theater of the city. but it's not about that. I can not be considered as those whose subjects were taken to the game (but they are courier and ward for small tournaments). may I hope that someone will get the attributes for me and send it by mail as a trophy. for memory. it is would be very very nice for me...

I just mean install the test client and use the tools found in the bin folder. I have not tried this myself, but it is where I would go if I tried
Extra Protip: DOn't make new systems by pressing Create New, copy paste that shit like a pro!
Extra super protip: Wait for Official tools officially scheduled for a release date in the year 2025.
Naw I just showed him how to access the particles. Thanks Vlad!
WAOH runs off to read! THANKS for sharing with the community!
Nice tutorial! Defiantly looking forward to having a play with these!
I assume you would do a custom submission for any item with particles and bundle them all up?
Wow, your my hero Vlad!
Now it's time to start making items again!
Vlad thank you so much for your contribute.
