Hi! So I wondering if there is chance to create shader for Unity which looks like technical drawing? I've tried use Edge detection script but it doesn't work very well. Also I found this and it could be perfect for my purpose: http://forums.tigsource.com/index.php?topic=40832.msg1024980#msg1024980 Especially this image:…
Hello guys! I just want to share a part of my freelance work i had done for Armada Studio. I was responsible for the design, modeling, texturing and lighting. The lighting is old fashion, baked light maps and then painted by hand here and there, just to add nice contrasts and highlights. The geometry it is very low in…
I made a fully 3d PBR explosion inside Unity. It's meant to be used for realistic scenes for a explosion mushroom cloud. The smoke rolling animation is completely procedural and scalable with time. The explosion itself is opaque with a blurred multipass shader for smokey edges and a nice transition with its surrondings.…
Hi, I ha ve been working on a scene in unity for some time now and I don't understand what happened. I've felt a little stuck in a creative rut lately, so I started this scene after seeing a concept piece by Ronnie Jesnen. Still a bit of work to do. The structures are very much a WIP. The foreground structures will be 3D, along with some in the mid. Otherwise I'll clean up and make some billboards for the rest. Then on to…

You can place a simple bone and rotate that bone within Unity. You could also rotate the object itself around it's pivot, just make sure it's a seperate mesh. There's a LookAt command within unity.
Greetings! Have a question regarding to usual approaches for "volumetric fur" implementations in Unity: Want to create something like those rugs on attached pictures in my scene - not animated, but decent looking at close-up, but failed to find any solid guidelines yet. Can it be implemented with shader graph editor (like…
Hi everyone, do you have any idea on how I could create a water blob/drop in Unity? I saw that some use the Cloth simulator, but I can't get the results I want. The water blob needs to move around on surfaces, and it might need to increase its size by joining with other blobs in the future, as well as become solid or…
[ QUOTE ] Couldn't you work in an un-tiny scale in 3ds max, and then scale it accordingly before exporting to UE3? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, I'd go with '1 (system) unit = 1 inch' with generic unit for display unit. Since there are no max user in my current MOD team, I wanted to hear from max user who had experienced with same…
