Try out some of the WAR concept art. It's fun to make and works great for getting people work. http://www.warhammeronline.com/english/media/conceptArt/ As long as you credit the artist, most are ok with using their concepts. It doesn't hurt to ask first either.
Ive been thinking about trying to form a study group like this Mainly for Sculpting and Drawing though kinda how Conceptart does their study groups thing Im interested.
Working on my BattleChasers fan art! Concept by Joe Mad : http://www.joemadart.com/images/mainart/regular/Battle-Chasers-NightWar-Lycelots-cave-entrances-conceptart-madureira-pencil.jpg

If you look at the pic, you see that he did copy and paste the Unreal Championship conceptart and just painted over it, as well as throwing in parts from the Gears of War pistol.
I'm just wondering, this isn't just geared towards 3D, is it? Because i would be putting up a fair amount of conceptart, and textures as well, if i where to get hosted.
Still blocking in the houses and the shape of the Mountain. The mountain topology might look a bit too high and unclean. What Im trying to do is to get the shape right first and the retop or dynamesh in zbrush to make it sculptable. I want to match as closely as possible to the conceptart. Concept art by Noah Bradley.
Posting the sketches, cause we need em... A cut + paste from Conceptart -- nobody looked at it, anyway. Some kind of neo-Egyptian ritual commando dude: I think I dated this girl in college: Or maybe this was her: Concepts for a future modeling project: Misc. /jzero
