I used to think that only 90* edges should be split / smoothed seperately but after baking several objects I got confused. At what "angle" would you start to see smoothing errors and would require a split ? So I made some test planes to test it myself and it seems that everything under +- < 60 degrees smoothes fine on 1…
Hello. This is really my first time ever really showing anything here but this is from something I did for a class. Any feed back or thoughts would be much appreciated. And as a note the objects in scene are using face weighted normals with beveled edges and a few of the indents in the walls are done using decals.

The instrumental intro versions of the Skyfall and Spectre movie seems to fit. So, I would imagine this would be a good spot for a villain, being a secret hideout…
Hello :) here is my latest light study homework, I can't spot any mistakes myself, besides maybe some sloppiness on the cast shadow on the ground? But I think the overall point is there? I saw a gradual increase in quality from the top to the bottom, as they were born... but I'm not an expert, and someone told me I should…
I'm working for a company that uses spec/gloss over metallic/roughness. Set up my shader, added my spec/gloss maps, but it appears that when I add materials and smart materials I can't get them to show the base color in material preview.
