Hey Jesse, nice to see another entry with an art deco feel to it and I'm liking the searchlights you've modeled and the very deco searchlight beams in the background. The throne area itself is looking pretty cool and I like the simplicity of it, but as you say the building itself feels a bit off. LINKY That's a pin off my…
Latest: Greetings! Here is my latest project in UE4, a Train station based on an exaggerated Art Deco style. I started the project with the Train model last summer and wanted to revisit the style. Not including the train, the project has taken about 3 weeks to get where I am now, and I expect to finish it in another 7.…
AlexandrL Thanks ,its exactly what I asked about because I often can't make it work at all or even export from Designer. Only something very basic . Any custom node, pixel or value processor and its almost zero chance . For your case it just follows basic logic : zero in no, one is yes. The rest is UI decoration.
Concept for my latest project, a Art Deco/Early 1900's style Train. Plan to use PBR textures, and do some zbrush sculpting for small details. Colors will likely be subject to change once I get around to texturing, so recommendations are very welcome. I haven't done too much vehicle/hero asset modeling so this will…
Hiya, So, something weird has happened to my Substance Painter file. I've been working on a project for a few days, but now when I try to open it I just get an error message that reads "Cannot load this project with this version: Cannot decode data". I was working on the file, as normal, and wanted to test the texture…
The last I checked Deco Layers are broken and have been for awhile now. They don't bake lighting properly. You may just have to hand place your meshes. For me deco layers are a bit of nuisance anyway, because they snap to verts on your terrain...limiting your placement.
Is there any way to mimic the Zbrush deco brush in photoshop? I know, I know. Just do it in zbrush. Zbrush still has no layer support, and I need to capture the transparency.
Hi everybody, now, I'm on my way to recreate the interior of the Cardiff Coal Exchange and transform it in an abandoned train station. I want to create the feeling that it wasn't left from a long time. I wanted to show you where my project is headed to and, most of all, catch any advice and critique from you. These are…
Hey all, just finished up an art deco lobby I've been working on, this was more an exercise in learning pbr texturing, basic modular modeling and substance designer as I am very new to the process. Anyway any kind of feedback and criticism welcome https://www.artstation.com/artwork/GX9gnN
