Hey Guys, I am taking a break from environments for a bit and have started on a vehicle. This is based 99.9% on Mark Steven Raktraktor. Here is a zrender of its current state: I have been working on it for the past 3 or so weeks on and off, it's been really fun so far. I started in max and brought it into z brush to shape…
Hey everyone So the college I graduated from has this group going on Facebook where we have a weekly art jam. Someone states a game/style and gives specifications and you have a week to do it. This last week I chose Allods and to make a character that could fit in the universe and match the style. I didn't have time to…
Finished! Check out the full breakdown here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/0xKV5 Hey everybody, I'm recreating Bombate's room from Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus in UE4 with a focus on modularity. My goal is that once I'm done, I'll have a neat kit that I can then use to build out some other environments with.…
Hello, I am a third year student at the media and advertising department at Tartu Art College. This year at our 3d-graphics course, our main assignment is a short animation. Our evaluation is at january, but its better to start early. I have done 3d modeling before, but I have never prepared models for animation, this is…
At this point I'll maybe once every 2 weeks ask AI "What does this code do?" or to do brain dead text processing tasks like "rewrite this lengthy recipe to remove fluff", and I often use AI transcribed text, but not much else. Also, the AI added to UE5 is a dumb chatbot, you're better off using Google Gemini or ChatGPT.
Hi guys, I'm new to UE5, and I'm encountering an issue with AO maps. Here are my troubleshooting steps: I adjusted the AO inside the PPV, and added these scripts: 1. Ambient Occlusion - Post process fix: r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.SSAO 1r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.ShortRangeAO 0It works with overall AO of the scene but not the…

Bathroom: -The lamp by the bathroom is hanging at a low postion. -The Door texture is looking somewhat flat, lacking depth, in comparison the the walls (See concept image you posted)…
So, I've got some updates here. Some others are still work in progress.... * First off; the most important one: the leg armors. I have slimmed it a lot; and changed its overall design from what I had before. I hope this would work out better. I think the current shape now shows sleek design; which is fitting to the…
Finally updating my thread again! I started on my own take on the Defiant from Deep Space 9. My goal is to merge some of the more modern sci-fi style elements from the new films, while keeping it true to the spirit of the original. Right now I'm just experimenting and blocking things out while I do as much research into…
I agree that you have made some great progress. Your most recent update is a bit blown out. Pull back on the brightness of the sun just a tad. I am not a huge fan of the AC units. They feel a tad out of place. The windows feel a bit arbitrarily placed. Even when people are building things they still have a tendency to…
