Max resolves Ngons differently to Blender. Moving the vert works because it changes how the hidden edges are resolved. If you want to get rid of the problem, you have to manually add edges so that Max doesn't do any weird guesswork with the hidden edges.

Hi I've been playing around with UE4 and I relatively recently discovered lightmaps (new to engines) and I had already imported a lot of my assets. Is there a way to make a lightmap in Maya and attach it to the mesh already imported? And is there a way to change the already assigned UV's for the textures? Thank you

one tip I got was to put the pictures in spotlight, and then using the move brush to get the shape and angles in in the start, and then to add the lesser forms by eye later :) Might be something to try for the next one.
