Meh, the audio is what messed with my head. 5.1 headphones, and it might have been a tad more immersive for you swampy.

Eh, I took Doom 3 like Quake. Only shocked me once and that was a bug (zombie soldier suddently popped into existence in front of me, no spawn anim or anything).

I enjoyed the game...it may have made me nervous playing at night alone 'er sumpin' but.....

do you see how much they're laughing? unlike a lot of us, they've clearly figured out how to play Doom 3 and enjoy it thanks for posting this, i laughed so hard at it.

I play it with the wuss mod atm - good bloody fun .
One shot from the shotgun soldiers kills but its great fun - hope i get the addOn next week.
SSound works pretty well again - even on a Nforce2. Just have to reset the sound with S_restart (its mainly digital, aint works too well with Nforce2)- sometimes.
Just passed the morgue before the administration (second time) play it on hard or nightmare, dodgeroll, teamtactics etc. - great fun ...

Oh come on, they're a couple of kids. They have all these new experiences in front of them.....they probably haven't even had sex yet....besides with each other.

I think I'm too jaded. I did not get that emotional.

I think they believed in the 'hype' too much.
