Problem with mesh display in Maya
Hi! I am new on this forum and beginner in the modeling field too, so please, don't kill me for some obvious mistakes... Now I am modeling my workspace and got into trouble while making details of the table: I do not know why my mesh displays in such a weird way, so maybe you do? You'd make me so happy and thankful! -
Maya can't import highpoly FBX from zbrush?
This is happening for a long while. Every time I import a high poly fbx from zbrush to maya (doesn't even need to be super high, around 1m is enough) Maya crashes, AND WORSE, if I wait long enough my computer stops completely. [TIP] Maya 2016 Custom Marking Menus in any window
As you might know there's a limitation in Maya that would not allow custom marking menus to be called by hotkey in undocked viewports such as the UV Editor. Might not help your particular problem, but try turning off "threaded optimisation" in the advanced options for your card. It cured a major Maya viewport problem for me and quite a few others at work. It might also be the XFX drivers, maybe try the official Nvidia ones? -
