What does this red arrow mean? I did paint effect to curves but when I try to select first CV I cannot. I thought when you select convert paint effect to curves it is suppose to make the paint effects curves. Is there a way to make these curves so I dont have to paint again?
The trouble with Max's paint select is that even if you have "Ignore Backfacing" checked, it still likes to select backfacing verts. This is also evident in Selecting by Angle. I have a basic box that I made and I then mirrored it , so the uv are overlapping. I then started using the Viewport Canvas tool and for some reason when I go to paint on the model it doesn't paint where my cursor is, it paints way off from it... Does it now work well when it is painting on a object with overlapping uv?
Is it me or is Substance Painter polygon fill painting isn't quite responsive? I zoom all the way to the polygon and click on the dead centre of a triangle, it often doesn't register, or worse, paint a triangle on other side of the mesh. Hi, new to mudbox here. When I paint, it paints about 1cm to the right of where my cursor is. So the pen is calibrated correctly as the cursor is in the right place but the actual paint is not painting within that cursor. Any ideas please?
