Hey guys, I'm looking for some insight on rendering highpoly models within Max. I've tried searching all over the forums for that picture and link (i know that is super vague) that shows how to set it up - but no luck. i've tried making my own shaders but that fails pretty quickly. Thanks in advanced :)
I have this project I am working on and I have a large gap on top and bottom of the prop. What is the best way to fill in the hole without getting any ngons or smoothing issues in the future bake? Thanks
I think I pressed a hotkey while messing around and now whenever I put an Unwrap UVW modifer on anything and select faces, it's triangulating my faces.. how do I turn this off?

I work in perspective view most times and everytime I rotate from a top-down or left view to perspective I have to press "P" and mostly "Z" before I have my object focused again. Is there a way to get directly into my perspective view without entering the ortho-view over and over again?
