I always did this type of rounded bevel with the spin tool in Blender. I've also been looking for the equivalent in Maya but so far the closest I've come across is 'edit mesh > wedge'. I hate that it's the one tool you have to be in multi mode to use, also you have to delete the extra faces afterwards :/
Just came back from seeing it as well. Incredibly weak, some nice visuals here and there and the idea is kind of interesting but horribly executed, the plot holes and nonsensical way some of the people behaved was too jarring to see beyond. Both me and my friend were able to figure out what the "big twist" was 15 minutes…
[ QUOTE ] @Suprore Your eyes look like they´re sitting far too low. But I like the Idea of doing the wario brothers [/ QUOTE ] Way too low, man. I thought going a little far would be cool and stylish, but on hindsight it just looks rediculous. Thanks, anyway. I'll probably sort the eyes later, distracted with some other…
ok first off im a big fan of both warmachines and Warhammer, the concept art your looking at is from the warmachines//hordes universe, steam powered bad ass minatures. With that set out of the way ............ you legs are a 3 point system the mid leg/calve area based off the concept art above from the side should work on…
I had started this model sometime last year and got as far as the head, ears, and part of the torso before I became annoyed with Max's standard subdivision tools flat out getting in my way. But thanks to Turbosmooth Pro I've been able to restart this and make very good progress in a short span of time! Most of what is seen…
Hi, I would like to know a bit about Face Rigging vs using Morphs. We are a small studio but we want to add the features of Facial expressions movement. We focus on getting atleast 10-12 expressions on the face. So would it be worth to setup Rigging or can we get away with Morphs using Zbrush? MoCap is still under…
Just starting to mess around with hand painted textures in Substance Painter. Im curious why Im getting warping in my Arnold renders that does not appear in either Susbtance or the Maya viewport. This is handpaint only. No baked normals. Only importing the base color map to maya. No smoothing or subdivisions. Thanks in…
I'm back already to begin a new project while I wait for replies from studio's I've applied to. In my last project I kept the work hidden from everyone and only wanted to post progress when it was near completion. I now feel that was the wrong way of thinking and so I aim to make this next project more personal with you…
Maya has been aggravating me for way too long now and I'm trying to customize it. So far, I've happily changed the colours, a few settings here and there and got rid of some menus that I didn't use. But there are some things that I'd love to change, but haven't found any options for so far... which, considering Maya's…
So, new project in school. My idea is to build a 1932 Ford Sedan as the Grim Reapers car. And if the Grim Reaper would have a car it would probably be built with old evil parts. And it would probably look pretty bad ass. Ol' Grim sure don't have time for car maintenance so it would most likely look pretty worn and torn…
