@monster
Awesome!
Gonna use this when I finish my skin
@nkoste
Haha, six hours?
I don´t want to know how long the rest took you.
@dj snyder
Don´t worry, it looks fine.
Cool Idea with the suit
Lots of great work in this thread so far!
I updated the first page so you guys don´t have to search for the links in case you want to try a different model.
Gonna do another two or three lowpoly models so stay tuned.
I really dig all these skins. Batman without a mask...genius. Business suit is an elegant idea. And the old school Quake1 palette is very well executed.
This stuff is all awesome, I think I'll have a shot at some of these SDKs when I have a bit more time, I've been wanting to do a quick low-res character skin for a while
Keep up the cool work guys, and thanks for the SDKs Slaught!
Hey Redmond, that came out pretty cool. Really like that final texture treatment you gave it. BUT, I'd like to see the shapes punched up a bit more. I think I know the look you were going for, but the broad gradient shading isn't quite pulling it off. Try adding some very dark lines to separate the forms and some highlights closer to the edges to pull them out. or something.
Small update, still needs a lot more work.
Face needs more colour variation, just put a base down for now with very minimal variation.
Getting rid of the seams in the cape is gonna be a little tricky. But I'll manage.
I can imagine the HORRIBLE downscaling not doing much good for your screenshot, Suprore. judging by the text in the title-bar, you'd be better off taking a 1:1-ratio screenshot.
And i don't think you should stop with the Nintendo-stuff, but the only thing that gave this away as being Wario was the W.
@Suprore
Your eyes look like they´re sitting far too low.
But I like the Idea of doing the wario brothers

Way too low, man. I thought going a little far would be cool and stylish, but on hindsight it just looks rediculous.
Thanks, anyway. I'll probably sort the eyes later, distracted with some other things right now (including an entirely different texture for the Thug sdk, which I'll post if I ever get it looking less awful.)

Did a quick skin, and an auto rigging system I've been testing. Click on the image to download.
You guys can use it for posing.
Go easy on me guys, I've pretty much never made a skin before :c
Thanks for the rig monster, I'll be using that once I finish the texture.

Question--are you painting in a higher res, then scaling down? Or are you just using really tiny brushes?

Fatee looks like an excellent wario, but maybe I should just stop with the ninendo stuff.
And i don't think you should stop with the Nintendo-stuff, but the only thing that gave this away as being Wario was the W.
And thanks, I'll avoid any scaling next time.
