I had started this model sometime last year and got as far as the head, ears, and part of the torso before I became annoyed with Max's standard subdivision tools flat out getting in my way. But thanks to Turbosmooth Pro I've been able to restart this and make very good progress in a short span of time!
Most of what is seen here is 4 days worth of bashing things out, so hopefully I can get of the rest done pretty quickly. (Sans possibly that insanely complex booster system. REALLY gonna hate that one!)

the best guess I have is to set the quad flow diagonally, but that sounds really obnoxious and unfun to do. does anyone else have an idea on how to handle this?
I could have just said the hands were done and showed a normal picture, but where's the fun in that?
All vital pieces are in place. going to go ahead and retopo and UV the model so I can hand it over to the person who'll rig things up. after that work on major accessories and anything extra will be done.
For the indentations I'd say if you've gone this far with just subd modeling, just model them. It'll be good practice and you can always get some help in the "How you model them shapes" thread.
