Hey everyone, I've been working on making 3d versions of concept art generated in AI. Seems to be getting there slowly, but thought I'd post here for C&C. Please excuse the rough masking, I didn't put enough detail into the base mesh before loading it up with a bunch of detail in the multi res modifier, and I don't know if…
As mentioned this is related to Marvelous Designer - I've created a large sheet to fall on my Mixamo model and I've followed at least 3 youtube tutorials to create a ghost. Straight out of the box it seems to work for other creators but mine just seems to be intersecting and looks to be quite low poly. I've changed the…
Here is a women's suit I have been working on. The back of the pants are incomplete, but I am not happy with the suit overall anyway and I am about to restart sculpting from my base mesh again or just scrap it and move onto a different project. But I would like some advice and critique before I start again. And here is the…
Hi, I have this normal details baked from Zbrush. Problem is Normal details gets lost when applying a color So I guess, the only way to accentuate is to have separate colors on those details. My problem is how? I tried the following masking(1) Metal Edge Wear Generator (2) Dirt Wear Generator(3) Curvature Map (Direct…
Hi! I was wondering if you could find something useful? I want to get 2D sewable patterns from 3D cloth too, so I am curious if you were succesful in your quest?
Hello, I've created a flag animation and wanted to export it into external engines like Sketchfab. As far as I learned the animation is a soft body. However I couldn't find a way how to bake a soft body. The help describes the process for Rigid Bodies and Particles only: Baking Dynamics…
for a really smalll asset, do you combine the uv map with other small asset? Eventhough the asset is completely different? Or do you have any other workaround?
Here is my final render, this will go towards my FMP for college. It took me about 1 month to finish the scene and 26 hours to render. The resolution of this image is 8000X5674, that is why it took so long. Let me know what you think
Hey Everybody, I'm curious to hear some tips on how I might go about getting a clean bake of a continuous mesh that touches or folds onto itself. My current conundrum is a sash that is wrapped around a waist. Usually when I see overlap my instinct is to explode into multiple parts, but in this case I'd like to have a…
Hey guys, Not used to post in this part of the forums, but I have a question. I have been watching some old Ps2 Shinobi gameplay and was amazed by their vfx tech, especially on the scarf of the character. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBtlmpxTVhg It doesn't look physics based or even geometry (just my observation, I…
