Hey everyone,
I've been working on making 3d versions of concept art generated in AI.
Seems to be getting there slowly, but thought I'd post here for C&C.
Please excuse the rough masking, I didn't put enough detail into the base mesh before loading it up with a bunch of detail in the multi res modifier, and I don't know if there's a way to increase that without destroying the multires data...
Also, in case you're wondering, the larger generic wrinkles are in fact a squished voronoi texture in the normal map :)
It was just a quick thing to stop it looking like a rubber suit, but it actually turned out better than I expected so I kept it... I can still mask it out where it needs to be and still added specific folds for tension with sculpting.

Looks like a good start! I don't have much experience creating full characters, so I can't comment on that too extensively.
Generating concepts using AI is an interesting idea. Did you generate it yourself? If so, what did you use? The concept itself looks a little muddy. The details are not well defined, but it seems like a decent basis to start from.
