Drawing Character (and other) Concepts in Mudbox
Many people me included love to create 3d concepts in mudbox because it's fast and powerful. But since you can paint in mudbox, there is nothing stopping you from using it as a painting tool like photoshop or painter especially since in version 2011 when you got all these sweet new painting tools :)… -
Best software/engine to convert pencil drawings into 3D models?
Right there's always a lot of polish work to a complete 3D model, but it's great to begin with the large general shape, esp cartoony anatomy... What is the best engine for converting a scanned work of art into a 3D model? -

Welcome! Overall it’s a really nice looking scene. :) One thing that stood out to me is the focal point. Right now, the bridge and the stone lantern both draw a similar amount of attention, so it’s a bit unclear where the viewer’s eye should settle first. You could maybe push one of them more as the primary focus, either… -

SpeedTree LOD-draw distance UDK

Except it says the exact opposite you mean? You can do dynamic batching too. Within some borders of course. And we are again at the "it depends". It is not clear if the gun is static or dynamic.
