SpeedTree LOD-draw distance UDK

Hello! I have recently started using speedtree and but have ran into some trouble in UDK. No matter what i set my LOD-distances to, it makes no difference. The tree changes to billboard way too early. I have tried to reimport the tree with different settings from speedtree a couple of times, and also changing them in UDK but it doesnt make any difference either.
