Hello all! Its been awhile since I posted. Had some crazy stuff going on in my life and its still not quite over. moving, switching schools, getting married, etc. But I've been dying to do a full environment so this will be my thread to get it done. I'll be quite busy here for the next month and updates will be low.…
Been freelancing with a studio out here on a multiplayer game called "Mist of Stagnation" that boasts a steampunk vibe; something new to my skillset. Hoping to grab some criticism from the community. Obviously I'm pretty far along so major design changes are a bit impractical when considering deadlines, but I would…

This looks very cool - http://www.the-working-man.org/2015/04/on-wings-tails-and-procedural-modeling.html I think 3 months of setup is a bit much but if it was done in free time you can shrink it to 1 month or even a couple of weeks of intense work. I'm wondering if it is possible to load your own primitives in Houdini…
This is an older 3d model i made that is vaguely based on two WW2 planes, the famous Japanese ZERO and a bit of the American F4F. This has been a learning experience, and so the topology clearly isn't the best. My interest was to create a product that could be used in the Warthunder CDK engine, but obviously it isn't…
Hey guys, I have been recently trying to model a Horten Ho229 (WWII Stealth bomber styled plane), and I really have been unsure where to start. I tried starting out by doing some fairly simple boxing out of the shape, but couldn't get it quite right so I thought I would try using splines (which I have pretty much no Idea…
G'day ladies and gentlemen, ive been working at Crytek UK for about 6 weeks now, and whilst ive been continuously working in my own time, I thought it was about time I crack open a thread for an environment im currently working on. Details are vague at the moment but this is the kind of thing im going for with my…

Alrighty then, after years of just making lowpoly models with basic very basic textures (I work for a mobile game company) and being too lazy to keep learning in my freetime (yes I know..), I thought it was time to finally take a proper crack at something that can go along for modern pc/console games. I thought it'd be…
