Hey guys, I have been recently trying to model a Horten Ho229 (WWII Stealth bomber styled plane), and I really have been unsure where to start. I tried starting out by doing some fairly simple boxing out of the shape, but couldn't get it quite right so I thought I would try using splines (which I have pretty much no Idea about (but want to learn more of).

So far I have this:

With a spline representing each different orthographic view. Now I am unsure how combine them all together to create the wing? Is there a better way to do it?

Your best bet is to box model it or stip model it with a plane. I always have problems start objects as well. Find shape that can be started with a primitive and then go from there. Once you get the momentum going it is all down hill from them. Good Luck

enlist your max help files. there is a wealth of information in there. seriously.

look up how to use surface and spline cage.

personally, i would box/sub-d it. (get the basic shape, put in edge loops for more control and apply turbo smooth.)

symmetry is your friend here also.
