Is it possible to snap the camera to an axis X, Y or Z? I've found the orthographic settings to switch the camera over to the type of camera i need but just nothing to snap the camera over to the axis I want. Thanks! Scrap that, I found it. Feel free to delete this thread :)
hi, guys, I'm new to ZBrush I'm having a problem with the symmetry. I can't find the axis in ZBrush. Like we have in Max or Maya axis indicator. I'm trying to figure out this problem from last 2 days. Thanks in advance.
Beginner question. What is the difference between "Rotate" and "Rotate Axis" ? And also what is "local rotation axis?"
I tried looking the documentation of Maya, but still i am soo confused.
Is there a way in 3DSMax to display all the axis in the scene, or on selected bones? I think I've seen this feature before (Maya/Blender?) which was good for being able to at a glance determine if all your axis were oriented correctly.
Hi! How can I use scriptJob command to track the Move Tool axis orientation change (World, Object, Custom)? I need to trigger "something" every time when axis orientation is changed. Or maybe scriptJob is a wrong way in my case?

Transform locks are only meant to lock the transform from direct manipulation by the user. I tried a couple of things here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2904948/Tutorials/WireZ.max The setup on the left is using a…
Hey guys, I'm quite stuck with how to do this in max. When I push the extrude button, it always extrudes along the local axis of the selected faces. Is there a way to extrude only along a selected axis? This is what I'm getting: This is what I would like: Thanks for the aid :)
How do you solve this issue in 3ds Max? You are modeling an environment prop, and because of the environment placement, it's at an angle. As you you modeling it causes issues because the local axis isn't correct. After you bake the normal you realize there is a seam in the middle because the axis issue causes the symmetry…

I have working IK stretch on the arms using the MDN / CND nodes (simple enough to setup) and it works great. I then tried to do the same for my leg IKs and seem to have unleashed satan himself. :s When…
