Inspired by Weiser_Cain (sorry, can't help) Okay, I saw this print about fifteen years ago, shellacked to a coffee table in Portland. I'd guess it's a general poster size print. Probably originally made in the early 70's. It depicts a pair of frog-people in bed (probably post-coitus) smoking, surrounded by swirls of smoke…
so i'm trying to export a skeletal mesh from 3ds max to UDK, and it's giving me this error: what it's referring to, is that those verticies aren't skinned to a correct bone. here's the thing. if i try i mesh i'd exported previously, any animations with that skeleton work fine. so the bones ARE okay, they're all correct.…
Hello all. I just finished my model (it's for Unity), It will be a metal on structures (bottom of the modele) and cloths on the top of the modele as you can imagine logically.. But i'm wondering if i must separate metal/cloth uv other doing on multiple textures : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BplWdNkmbs So what should I…
Hi, I decided use 3D paint to fix seams on a character which have 3 textures assigned~ What I want to do is how I can view all the textures together and fix the seam between different texture~ I tried the viewport canvas on 3dsMax 2011 but I seems like it can only load one texture at a time~ So, I wonder how can I do it,…
Need some help, having some issues with 2 parts, materials are applied correctly. UV's seem to be layed out correctly (no overlapping), but the textures seem to bleed into each other, anyone have any pointers to why this is happening? Thanks. Software used: Maya. Substance Painter
lol I'm actually unsure about naming convention. I'm guessing there are multiple types of naming conventions each suited for different purposes. For editing I try to keep names recognizable so I don't forget what something is, and it's important during the baking process. Most items turn into incomprehensible IDs in the…
So I've got this guy who's a bit angry at things on the internet. I'm wondering if he looks angry enough? Does he even look angry at all? Is there anything I can do to make him look more angry? I want him to look as angry as possible, but I need to do it in as few polys as possible. I cant add a load of wrinkles to…
Thanks Scott! Applying to a mesh selection doesn't seem to be working either, each subsequent click changes the whole model. But I am able to bake vertex color in Max out to a bitmap, and that loads fine into dDo as a color ID. Solved!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WE3_pqw-KNU&t=2s Hi everyone, I’ve been working on Hairflow, a specialized 2D tool designed to bridge the gap between sculpting high-fidelity hair and the tedious process of creating hair card textures for real-time engines. The philosophy is simple: Groom in 2D on a flat canvas, and bake…
