Are they really absolutely a *necessity* when spitting out an obj and generating normals in another app. is so easy? Anyway, Im pissed, 5 days and 2 e-mails later and still absolutely no reply of any kind let alone an upgrade link. I guess I'll have to call them.

I need to use the transform tool to line up the t-pose against an existing mesh (obj) and so would find it useful to import this mesh, but have it static and of a different mat to help the line up process. What would be the best way of doing this? Does 4R6 have any handy workflows to assist with this sort of process?

Hey guys. I'm working for a MOD team and they need Maya for Xmodel and all that stuff. I gave a guy a rar folder with an obj, spec map, diffuse and normal map. We're wondering how to get these on my model. Very basic, I know. But I'm using Max and we're lucky to have somone who even has Maya.
Hi all, I'm using MAX. I have set up rig using bones. Is it possible to export them out as boxes? I have tried (display prop set to boxes and also edit mesh) export it out to zbrush but when importing obj it displays as bones. Does anybody if this is possible. Thanks
hello guys I'm using my new pc. I forgot to backup the max plug-ins from my old system. It's a simple batch import/export for .obj files. I'm looking for it in the internet but I can't find it. Maybe you guys know a simple plug-in like that. I would really appreciate the help.
Hey guys, I'm trying to create a Marmoset Viewer, but the wireframe portion of it is transparent when I did a preview. I checked a few other models and their's show the wireframe on top of a standard white material. Does anyone know how to fix it? I've tried using an fbx and an obj and both have the same result. I've never used the group function in Topogun due to not knowing it existed, but have since found out its there. I'm exporting my obj from Zbrush and the model has polygroups; however, the group function in Topogun is only giving me the one group option which is the entire mesh instead of various components of the mesh.…
