I'm starting this sketchbook to encourage myself to post more often. I have been practicing with a traditional sketchpad trying to improve my fundamentals. I do intend to paint over many of my sketches in PS. Critiques are more than welcome and I hope you all enjoy browsing through my doodles. Nate

Hello. I've worked on this animation for a couple of days now and feel satisfied with the result. However i'd appreciate if a new pair of eyes could take a look and perhaps provide some feedback on it. -MereZy. (my first time using sketchsync, hopefully everything works as intended.)…
Hi guys, I don't understand. Why is there such a big difference between how my foliage and static mesh is being lit? I have a lot of "glowing" mushrooms, which is not intended, so I placed a SM next to it, and it lightbakes completely different. Any hints on how to improve my lihgtbake on the foliage?
Yep. If you know your target size for the intended usage/asset, you can export at 4k, downsize, and import at that resolution. But ideally a size above and be fine to avoid that very issue and have some sort of buffer if you ever need to upscale.
I have a problem with 3Ds Max 2020 where as the model will start to Zfight whenever I inset a face or when I resize the face that is inset. See video for explanation. Video here: https://www.reddit.com/r/3dsmax/comments/flvuxj/zfighting_in_3ds_max_2020_on_inset_face_and_when/ Is this intended behaviour?

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, and if not, I apologize. I'm planning on going to GDC next month, and I was wondering if Allegorithmic's talk will also have some content for people who have an intermediate PBR experience or if it's just intended for beginners / artists who come from a non-PBR workflow.…
Hey guys Just got this sculpting to a state where I feel its time for Polycount crits time :) This is my first attempt trying to sculpt anatomy. The character is intended to be a pin up girl so im not going for anything to muscular, but toned. Anyway let me know what you think :)
Very rough concept for the Desert Eagle "Void Hawk", intended as an entry for the CS:GO competition, drawing inspiration from Alien(s), Bladerunner and Space: 1999, the unremarkable colour scheme and overly utilitarian look should fit Mil-spec rarity well. Gunsmith will be the finish style.
