I made this model in blender, baked the cards in marmoset toolbag and textured it in substance painter. I would like to know your opinion about this model and comments on obvious errors. Thank you.
Hi Asim7, In the second image the issue appears to be that there are no UVs setup for the height textures. The height blend should be working but the height texture UVs are probably not aligned with your material UVs. I hope that helps.
Hi, everytime I import my fbx model into Marmoset some of the parts aren't showing up. In Blender everything looks fine and when I imported the same model into substance painter everything showed up fine and I was able to texture everything without issue. Does anyone know what the problem might be?
Hi! I'm stuck. I don't really know what else can I do with my textures on this model. My biggest pain are the stripes, I have no idea how can I make them look good in Substance Painter. Should I give every stripe a separate ID and change texture direction separately? Are my choices of materials even any good? Thanks!

When I look at some of the highly rated works on ArtStation, it looks like they use several 4k textures on one gun, or excessive polygon counts for a game model. Certainly, if I use a lot of 4K textures and a high polygon count, the quality…
Object 2 - Old tape measure Model - 54 mins Low poly tris: 1,022 Low poly: UVing - 10 mins Annoying sized to pack well. Texturing in Substance Painter Texturing 2 hours 10 mins. This is a 1024 texture This is Unity packed Of course, it's worth a shot in a 512 texture too. It is not extremely bad in 512, but I wouldn't…
Hi, I'm working on a little (isometric 3D) mobile game at the moment and tested around with textures. I wanted to make a bigger texture sheet for some smaller textures and encountered the good old seams. My first thought was to insert padding, but it seems a little strange to me by this type of rectangular seamless…
Hi! I am playing with the multi-layered texture node under Maya to paint a level with lot of different texture files. I first tried with vertex color and layered texture, it allows me to apply a first texture to the object (example : earth texture) and then to paint over a second layer another texture (example : grass…
