Hey guys, This is an asset from Dark Clouds, a game I'm currently In the process of wrapping up. VG remix winner Brendan B has already torn this apart and helped improve it to this point, so I was wondering if you guys could help with some more feed back? Thanks
Well since im trying to learn this system coming from softimage Im having trouble wrapping my head around: Making the com (bip01_pelvis) change the keyframe type from linear to stepped, i can do it to the rest but it seems i cant get at the right bit in the curve editor if that makes sense?
I'm trying to make some tiling textures using krita because it has an awesome wrap mode. Does anyone know a way to get straight lines using the standard brush tool? Something like holding shift to draw a straight line to the last point in photoshop. There's gotta be an easy way to do this...
Hello, I've just wrapped up work as a character artist on VR game, To The Top and looking for work. I'm available for remote freelance or locally here in Austin. a viking i've been modeling on and off for a while now. going to add a seax and sword, and work a lot more on the texture. i'm also thinking about redoing the normal map for the leg wrappings, and improving the topology of the cloth on the arms. and i'm going to redo the hands. and going to add this axe: and quick space…
Trying to UV this object right now so it'll simply tile a map across itself seamlessly. I've tried hand-projecting it, I've tried peel, pelt, spline, wrap, stitching pieces together... Not getting anything usable. Any suggestions or help would be hugely appreciated.
Finished Model Decided to start this project based off of a concept by Thiago Almeida. Still have a lot of work on the torso/back but I've done some material tests on his legs and added a cannon in his claw. I'll be trying to wrap up the high poly topology this weekend. Concept by Thiago Almeida
@papercut I was using this as ref for her face. Mostly for her feel. @Jere0020 Usually we use external image hosting site. I use imgur. Then we simply copy its URL like www.website.com/filename.jpg, and wrap it in
Worked on improving the eye shader since I am using an old version of UE4. Added iris normal, more pronounced caustics and fake scattering by using wrap diffuse lighting. Vanilla UE4 eye shader on the left hand side.
cool man, post some samples up when you get it working. Persevere, i think it took three seperate attempts to wrap my head around quixel suite. Then I purchased it immediately. you won't regret it.
