I think I've tried the registry edit Whargoul is talking about... It's an edit to the TrDelay time in hardware/graphics. I punched it up from 0 to higher values like 3, 5, or 7 and it didn't seem to do much that I could tell. When mudbox crashes on me, It's an instantaneous thing.
