Hi, I'm currently baking in xNormal and prefer it over Maya. However, the project I'm currently working on requires the meshes to use multiple UV sets with groups of meshes sharing one AO map that is read from the second UV channel. Is it at all possible to be able to tell xNormal to bake using the second UV channel? Thanks
Hey everyone, we're an international team of 5 (across the US, Europe and Asia) actively working on building out a deckbuilding roguelike in Unity. It's an isometric game with a medieval fantasy setting that will have some Northern and Eastern European aesthetic touches. We're at a phase where we'll be entering early…
Hi! This is my first post, so apologies if it is not formatted ideally. TLDR; I need help finding a method to rig a character's shawl/cape that follows their arms beyond basic skinning. Any suggestions, tips or explanations on a driven joint-based shawl set up would be very appreciated! I cannot use nCloth or nHair…
I thought I'd try my hand at a weapon skin set for the medic of bandage wrapped weapons. Band-Aid grips, blood soaked gauze wraps, maybe even kiss marks over scrapes and scratches on the gun. What's the best way for a new (ish) zbrush artist to get critiques, just on the simple boring stuff like anatomy and clothing? I've noticed a strange, "middle…
I really like your AR/VR pieces and the pumpkin textures/materials. Your large environment, however, suffers from very flat and inconsistent lighting. In a way, it looks more 2D than the concept. You did set additional lights and rim lights for important pieces, which is good in principle, but it's only partially motivated…
Hello, based on another post I made about the topic it was suggested to post about some rocks I created for the latest game I worked on. The game follows a semi stylised art direction which took a lot of trial and error to reach the result we have today. Here is a quick breakdown of the process I put in place. 1. Sculpting…
Hi I'm looking for a way to block off a road that would be believable in a quiet riverside town in Missouri. Obviously the roadblocks/ Army/ Rubble cliche's aren't going to do the job for this, does anyone have any ideas or where to look? The scene is a couple of houses in a suburban setting with a library and church, with…
