Hey folks, I am pulling my hair out trying to find the Brush feature called wrap mode in Zbrush 3.5 R3. This feature was basically the offset filter in Photoshop for making tileable textures. Does anybody know if this feature still exists in the latest ZBrush?
Hi, I've worked on a script for Photoshop that takes a layer and distribute it and wrap it to a path. So I decided to ask here if anyone is interested in it, if so I will continue tweek it. Here is a preview on what the script is doing now: [ame] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZj_tTH2MRk[/ame]
Having weapons wrapped by tape, ribbon and whatever else is super popular right now. I like the aesthetic because it adds visual interest but I don't know the best way to create the effect. Particularly, I'm trying to create the effect with real topology; not just normals. Should I just create simple geometry in maya and…
Has anybody had success shrink wrapping something like a base head mesh to their high poly sculpt? I imagine a lot of tweaking points would be involved, but maybe that would still save a lot of time?
I am curious about how other folks handle modular corners on buildings/structures. I want to wrap a seamless texture around 2 pieces that make up a corner. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/543/modularconundrum.jpg/
I have a script request for a simplified Skin Wrap tool. The idea is that you simply select the high poly mesh, press a hotkey and then select the deformer mesh. Hi, Noah here. I do short films and 3D modeling is not a strong point of mine yet. I bought a model and I would like to find someone with the skillz to be UV wrapped and rigged for animation. Please contact me if you can help. bioboy98@gmail.com
Line, Sweep modifier, use custom shape. Add an edit poly / turbosmooth to the top and tweak it out looking back and forth with the final shape. Like Ghostscape said, don't focus on it actually physically connecting 100%...throw wraps under other wraps etc. Consider where your UV seams (on your low) are going to be as well…
the simplest way - create a bone chain. Make each bone the size of a link. Weight each link 100% to the corresponding bone. Wrap the bones around the model. You could PROBABLY go as far as linking the bones to a cloth helper, using it to get the nice wrap.
