I had grown accustomed to saving a texture in photoshop, and it automatically updating in max. Now in 2010, it appears to be selectively updating some and not others. So I recently purchased a camera in order to take photos of buildings or objects that I need to model. I figured it can also be used to make texture assets as well, I know that most textures for games are made from photographs. Does anyone have any advice or known tutorials that can help me make better use of my camera?

Hi, so I am trying to make modular assets, more specific, I am trying to make a piece of wall that when putting them together they will tile, but I cannot texture it correctly inside quixel, it seems that the texture does not tile. Any tip on how to work with this?
Hey everyone, I'm using max 9 and lately whenever I apply a texture, it always tiles to seemingly 100x100. This happens if I load the texture from the material editor, and drag + drop. I tried to reset the defaults on max, but to no avail. What's going on and how can I undo this?
