I have an issue with Substrate where anything over the fogged (rough) glass has artifacts around them. Like a glow and the area around doesn't have the rough glass. The more rough the glass surface is, the more the artifacts become larger. Went through a lot of settings and didn't have any luck. Anyone encounter this…
Do you have a link to such footage + the specs of said laptop ? Otherwise any comparaison is quite litterally pointless really. Overall UE5 isn't as magical as one may be led to believe. Even the editor alone is slower than UE4.

Dude I have had so many problems with trees in UE5, I can give you my solutions in that engine but the leaves should cast shadows even in a cartoon setting... it looks strange to have it look like stretched polygons without any depth... you asked for feedback and I can really help you with UE5, not much on the rest.
