We'll start by just drawing a piece everyday, and it can be digital or traditional. Then we'll start to work in some sweet themes to challenge ourselfs! ex. robots, chicks etc.

This is an environment sketch I did for my floating cities theme that I will use to make a 3D environment. The city is a placeholder since I didnt have an idea of what to do and I wanted to focus on the environment anyway. This is a volcanic planet and the city is built to transform heat into energy that powers the city itself.
Not too detailed, spent around 2 hours on it (I know most of you can do a better job within less time, but I'll get there one day :P).
Thats sexy dude
Daaaaamn girrrrl.
some acryll doodlery
Just learnt about this concept art thread from TehSplatt and been looking at some of the artworks that everyone's posted - really like the doodle Ravenslayer
Here's what I've been working on right now, just starting to detail it and clean up some.
Critiques welcomed!
last sketch of tonight w/ f'd perspective:
All the stuff you mentioned was really accurate actually regarding the story - it's actually a little artwork for a group of people's Pathfinder game from my workplace so there'll be some spoilers (if whoever's reading is part of this group then DON'T read the spoilers just below!)
The artwork is going to have a second version done of it, where it is much more zoomed out - with the lady transformed into the dragon, facing the direction her eyes are looking at in an attacked pose (they should be looking down instead of up like in the sketch).
Anyhow I did work on it a little more, just having gotten around to adding some of the suggestions you made - though the more I start finishing it I realise I'm quite unhappy with the general composition and the character herself... am thinking to restart this and perhaps try and go for more of a focus on the character itself and certain other key elements instead.
Here's what I got up to though!
...and I'll post up the newer sketches as soon as I get around to them
Thanks again Nina!
Cool work, silla! The vague creature in the distance adds mystery to it! Deep underwater worlds tend to scare me with their massive scale, and this work is no exception.
And thanks Nina, that's really good advice
Will keep them in mind for the newer version!
I need a lot more practice.
Some fanart I finally finished
I keep feeling he should be saying something, you know?
hour or so doodle.
sometimes i actually draw
EDIT:
Another quickie.
Really like that sketch suburbbum! And Swizzle nice!
Very educational, there's a unique and vital skillset in that kind of art.
I've never posted anything on poly count before and I only got an intuos the other day so this is one of my 1st pieces of digital art! Its part of a larger scale character I am working on.
Constructive feed back and tips always appreciated!
Done on photoshop......just a quickie!
late last night...
(I think I need to go back to studying, I definitely felt I was forgetting anatomy things)
and the night before:
to ruin the rhyme... I got this fashion conscious character and then I always draw him naked and generally forget to design stuff for him... so here's me trying. I used to design clothes all the time, WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT? Not gonna keep that up if I wanna be a good character designer ;o
30 min speed paint
I love this brush work, man. Is this a PS work?

Finally found time to start painting the new version of the judge I posted here awhile back
Still quite a lot that needs to be done, but aiming to finish it tonight.
Also I'm not sure if this is the place to be posting this, should these go in the WIP thread instead? Please lemme know if it actually should be somewhere else.
Same as before, all critiques welcomed
Thanks!
Looking forward to seeing the next step!
Here's a little update! I actually made the other hand smaller instead, but I think you might be right - both hands will need to be bigger instead. Also I'm just realizing now that there's an uneven amount of yellow on certain places :P
Will try and do a final pass on this tonight if time permits!
