finished this bad boy up (high poly at least). this has been on my to do list for quite some time. glad to have finally gotten it done. during the renders i did notice the bit of stretching in the geometry on the front faces of the rails, but that angle is so harsh im just not going to touch it.
that attachment is so sick. Modeling looks great man.
Calling this one done, I posted a WIP of it in this thread few months ago, finally found the time to go back and finish it.
Here is the second one in the series - a Rotary Drilling Mech
Holy piss!
Honestly, I don't understand how you can have such a comprehension of mechanics. This is overwhelmingly detailed, and it looks so functional.
Here's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and never thought I was could but after finishing the Hard Surface course over at CGWorkshops, I definitely want to try and do the whole thing.
Started with a sculpt I've previously done based on Christian Bale as a base to build the cowl on.
Still very rough just sketching it in, to retopo over.
So, I've been playing a lot of Borderlands 2 recently and I decided to create a weapon or two in that style. Still working on the texture and learning dDo[it is really nice so far].
Enjoy!
I remember, after i finished Dishonored i had a strong will to create a character based on a style of the game, not copy somebody from the game, but create my own art that could fit the game. I was bussy at that moment and almost forgot about it. And just few days ago i saw amazing fan art sculpt of one of the Pendalton brothers, made by great artist Adam Fisher. He inspired me to make my own piece of art (thank you Adam ).
So here it is. I called this guy Lord Pembroke, bureaucrat, shifty guy Took me 4 hours to sculpt after work and couple days on rendering and composing.
Spending more time with dDo (another 30 minutes today). Hopefully tomorrow I can get into it for a few hours. Probably a near final color scheme. missing emissive and some decals.

Holy shit, I love you.
And nice to see you finished that wester, it looks a bit flat though.
Now, this is my new ZBrush sculpt I did recently to improve my ZBrush skills and add to my portfolio.
Here's the turntable.
