Some minor improvements on the model, improved the facial structure, readjusted the biceps and added some extra detail. Some feedback is always appreciated.
SOOOO much win on here everyone.   Great work
cross post
I got sick of high poly for a while so I started the lowpoly. Then got swept up in an unwraps and test bakes a few days later and here we are. I am currently trying to get onto the hair before I go too far down the texturing path. I am trying to decide between sculpted hair or hair planes. I think I am leaning more towards hair planes but I am not 100% yet. Maybe a few base colours will help me make up my mind :poly142:
KEEP THE RADS COMING everyone.
Duncan those pants are just pure sex. amazing man :P
Can you take a screenshot in Marmoset using the Polaroid render defaults? I prefer my screenshots with so much Chromatic Aberration that it looks like the piece is being shaken to death by a rainbow.
I also prefer the Polaroids overblow blue saturation that blends everything into itself -- like a smurf drowning in blue india ink.

Well as you can you see I actually added the lens flare as well as the chromatic Aberration. I agree though I do need more lens flare. Maybe over the whole image actually.

Looking good. I'd drop the knees a bit (maybe too high). Palms/hands seem a bit too long? Have you tried a skeleton? Helps with understanding proportions, landmarks, etc. - or it did me. Cheers.
Edit: on second thought I think the knees are right - somehow he's just overstretched vertically?
I am working on some enemies for a tower defense game. The Rhino Beetle is about 1.500 tris heavy and the final map should be 512x512.

@KarlWrang: Nice looking mortar! Though it would have been nice to see some more color variation in the metal.
Been working on this on and off for a few days. An Empire Longsword from Warhammer, concept by Dan Scott. Some issues needing fixing of course, but I feel like I'm on the right track.
oohoo nice one duncan! ... I find it a bit odd that her upper arm keeps getting thinner towards the shoulder joint in comparison to the rest of the arm though...:\

So, im making some computer props for my space man. Note that the composition and layout arent particulary art directed at the moment.
I dunno dude .. if it is who I think it is, I would personally make it more like a joker-chimp hybrid.
